What got you into technology staffing?
I graduated in technology and received my master’s degree in Business Administration. I was looking for a new career opportunity where I could utilize both my educational backgrounds. Precision came along my way and I was then exposed to technology staffing. Upon starting my job at Precision, I found that technology staffing blended well with my core skillset. I have been in technology staffing for about four years now. By nature, I’m a dominant problem solver and in the staffing world, every day is a new challenge. It is a great learning experience and the best part is that there is no monotony.

I enjoy researching and reading about new technologies to get a better understanding of what they offer for people and businesses. It’s fascinating to see how emerging technologies are being used to build businesses. Being a part of technology staffing helps me gain diverse knowledge thereby helping me to converse with diverse individuals at ease.

What do you find the most exciting about working with clients and staff on their technology?
I work with clients ranging from startups to mid-level enterprises to Fortune 500 firms from across industries. Each client comes with a unique technical landscape, unique requirement set and culture. It is our job to deep dive into their issues and come up with a solution crafted for their situation. As part of that, I get to interact with various stakeholders starting from a team level Developer to Staff VP/Director. Every solution that I propose, must consider not only the techno-functional aspects but also their organizational culture. I value this as a rich and exciting exposure.

On the other hand, I get to work with aspiring and experienced technologists who are looking to change their career paths/ jobs. It gives me immense satisfaction to help them land their dream jobs.

What is it about Precision that makes you want to come into work every day?
I have seen tremendous growth in my journey with Precision. I started as an Operations Analyst and within a year I became an Operations Manager. In my third year at Precision, I became a Recruitment Manager which further lead to becoming AVP – Client Relations. Along with the responsibilities entrusted on me, I was given immense freedom of thought and expression within the Precision family, which helped me go up the ladder. I am a quick learner and Precision has always provided me with opportunities to take up new challenges that keep me motivated.

Precision has an ear for its employees and their priorities. The organization accordingly understands and provides flexibility. We have a great work environment and we have ‘Fun at Work’. “Monday blues” is not for me because, both in India and US, it happened that some of my closest friends are my colleagues.
